Our little one officially has the A-Ok from the fetal medicine specialist! Due to the concerns that popped up in the first trimester screenings, the main OB doc has been sending us to the high-risk preganancy specialist monthly for a complete ultrasound and growth check. This month was a 20 week Anatomy Scan. Our baby boy checked out with perfect growth at 15 ounces and a 145bpm heart rate. His main appendages were examined plus his heart, kidneys, spine and brain were all measured for a general health check. His heart is strong and brain is developing well!! As of March 18th were estimated to be 21 weeks and 2 days along, which puts us at July 13th for 40 weeks.
Jarrod and I are incredibly relieved to have finally had a normal check-up. Every month we go and they say, 'Ok but this is a little off or I need to refer you to so and so...' This time we got the OK and feel great! Our next check-up and growth scan will be mid-April, but I am posting plenty of pictures to last us a month.
